QUESTION: Why are you still here? 🤠

In order to reduce the hysteria I believe most in developed countries are suffering (a result of the mass psychosis that media and corporations place us under), I believe we need immutable headlines trackers.

If we can see how a story (narrative or claim) develops, we'll be able to punish gaslighters and false prophets and reward contrarians who happen to be correct with attention.

Fact tracking instead of fact checking? Claim tracking?

The Attention Economy needs sophistication.

Influence is something that you can act on or wait and cultivate.

It responds well coupled with momentum but eventually runs dry before needing new fuel.

Be prudent and meaningful.

"Social media" that survives will be one that's more social and less media focused.

You can see the longtail of the media's harmful programming when you see people write statuses that force engagement or buy it cheaply.

Otherwise, social media dies with a cringe generation.

I want more controversial activists and dissident thinkers on BitClout.

I want BitClout to send up a signal in the sea of social media noise.

I do not want to replicate old systems and tired ways.

Social media in a peer-to-peer environment is more an economics question than technical question.

That makes the blockchain appealing until you realize the inherit technical challenges that come with using it for content.

Good economics will eliminate spam and incentivize good.

Adding unique features, adds complexity and it becomes difficult for the community to train new users.

If both retention and new user growth suffer, something is *wrong.*

Exchanges won’t be onramps to BitClout.

If there’s no coordinated onboarding effort… there’s no on-ramp.

Now’s a good time for a whale-funded effort or the core dev team.

One of the methods that’s made me a good leader has been being curious about what’s going wrong.

It causes me to go over things that seem routine and catch any slippage.

Teams desire to follow a leader who can articulate the destination and keep an eye on the rear.
