This is one of those tracks I remember from DadTop40 cassettes

where dad would record the top 40 from radio 1 each Sunday so us kids had some "modern" music to listen to in the car (besides Dad's Phil Collins and Genesis lol )😂

The great bit about the cassettes was that often the tracks would have very odd and sudden start and stop points (i.e. just paused when the DJ spoke at the end of the track etc) and I think us kids even learnt the exact notes/wording when the track would "transition" to the next charting track 😂

I bring this up because the "la la la la la la la la" at the start of Joanna sticks in my mind as one of those sudden "here's the next track" sudden splices into the playback 😂

This is awesome! I really enjoyed the comedy-drama "24 Hour Party People" back in the early 2000s. While not a truly biographical film, it was a lot of fun and had an excellent soundtrack.
