I hit 13M followers over the weekend. Three key takeaways from building such a large following: 1) Be the trend, don't follow them or you'll always be behind in someone else's trail 2) Be fucking passionate about your content, otherwise you're going to get burnt out. 3) see below

There are no "Copyrights" to content ideas. If someone "steals" your idea, don't complain, don't be negative, don't get on your high horse and talk about how it's YOUR idea. There is no ownership of a creative idea, so if someone is copying you, step up your game and level up.

Content Creation Tip: Your ability to create Viral content is directly correlated to your ability to trigger emotion or to provide value. Emotion and Value. Every single piece of viral content creates emotion (laughter, shock, surprise, anger,etc) or provides value to the viewer.

Would you believe that I met this stranger and within 15 minutes had her dressed in this dress for a photoshoot? Most photographers elected to shoot models, I chose to work with strangers on the street. That became my differentiator, that became my million $$ idea. Be different.

Social Media Secret #2: Focus your time and energy on the platforms and FEATURES that offer the highest organic reach. If you're NOT posting Reels on Instagram, #Shorts on YouTube, Spotlights on Snapchat, then you are not a fan of this thing called reach and awareness.

Instagram Secret #4: IG is no longer a PHOTO app, it's a VIDEO app. If you're not creating Reels content, you are sleeping on the biggest opportunity on IG in years. The organic reach on Reels is 100x that of a standard photo. Reply with your highest viewed Reel... Mine is 20M!

Instagram Secret #3: Utilize IG Guides (new feature) to provide Value, Build Community and as an additional service to offer brands. Value Ex: The top 10 restaurants in XYZ city, Community Ex: Top 3 small creators to watch out for, Brand Ex: My fave products in XYZ industry.

The amount of people that have sacrificed growth and potential on social all because they overthink WHAT to post. Just post your content people, what's the worst that could happen... there's only upside.

TikTok Secret #4: You have less than ONE second to hook a viewer. A study found that the single point in time where the most drop-off on a video occurred was at .6 seconds for non-subscribers and .9 seconds for subscribers. You have literally less than 1 second to grab attention

Instagram Secret #2: Best practice for posting Reels: Post it to your feed for minimum 2 days to get initial boost, use THIRTY hashtags (categorize content by 3-4 things and find tags), share on your and others story for more views. Click for more tips 👇

Instagram Secret #1: Share your Reels videos to your story. Every story view counts as a view on your Reels video. Not every follower sees your Reels in their feed, so putting it on your story gets more eyes on it. Get other pages to share on their story to really amplify views.

TikTok Secret #3: You can download all of your videos THROUGH TikTok without the watermark. Don't use third party apps, it degrades the quality. To download go to Settings - Privacy - Personalization and data. Once you download all your videos, repost them on Reels and YT Shorts.
