I swear to god, I had this thought today.

DeSo as a whole should fund all accounts with $0.01 when they are created, to allow ANYONE to actually EXPERIENCE it.

With the current stat of 1.5M accounts created, providing everyone with $0.01 at launch would have costed a messily $15,000, but I reckon it would have doubled or tripled the chances of bitclout retention.

Time to reveal one new change in Desofy. 🔥

Users will be able to create accounts for free on the new app funded by Desofy.

Our goal is to reduce the hustle for new users to start desofying as easy and fast as possible.

So it will be like any other Web2 app.

1- Download Desofy
2- Create profile by entering username, bio and image
3- Experience DeSo without the need to care about $DeSo

This is the first step on a long way to make on-boarding easy. 💪🏻

DeSo fam, I need some advice!

I am struggling a bit to find a career field that aligns with my interests.

I want to go into the Health space -> Biology, Genetics, Research, but don't want to become a doctor nor go into academia.

I want to go into a little bit of a niche crossover - business and health. Things like product, startups, informatics and such. [Discovered I loved this space through DeSo, after wanting to be a Doctor my whole life].

2 Questions.
1) What are good academic pathways to get into that type of role? Applying to Universities Dec!
2) Any advice on getting more understanding about that niche? Hard to get exposure because its not in traditional learning systems.

I think trust is one of the most important and valuable things you can have. Like ever.

It’s easy to tell everyone to diamondhand when things are good. Harder to actually do it when things are bad.

If you believe in something, with a passion, continue doing so through thick and thin.

Feedback and hype cycles are all a part of the process.

I believe in DeSo, let’s do this.

Two words. Onboarding. Experience.

We need to make it smoother.

1) Have a more welcoming discord with easier to access information (this is coming soon to the DeSo foundation server)

2) Build better tutorials/explanations. This is something the community needs to continue to work on. The current method is kinda just. “Throw them into the water and let them figure it out” type of thing. It may create more passionate users but decreases retention.

3) Discovery may be the most important part of all this. If 1 and 2 both work out, we have a new user on the platform exploring, probably with little funds. But, if they struggle to get any sort of engagement or discovery, they won’t be able to see the true value of this community or space. Not completely sure what the best way to do discovery is, though.

Those are my 3 improvements. What are yours?
